Solution

The correct option is A Porphyrin head and phytol tail
Chlorophyll is a bluish-green or olive-green colour pigment soluble in organic solvents like alcohol, acetone etc. It is made up of a squarish tetrapyrrolic ring or porphyrin known as head and a phytol alcohol known as the tail. It posses -CH3 group or CHO group which links pyrrole rings of porphyrin head to form ring system and the Mg atom is present in the central position of the tetrapyrrolic ring.
