The correct option is A 5
Let the number of people be x.

Number of chocolates = 5x + 7

If the chocolates are distributed equally among the people, we can find the number of chocolates each person gets by dividing the number of chocolates with the number of people.

Using long division:

5 x5x+75x2 +7

So,
Quotient = 5
Remainder = 7

Hence,
Each person gets 5 chocolates and
7 chocolates are left after distribution.
