Write two equations for which 2 is the solution.

(i)Consider the equation $x-2=0$.

Adding 2 to both sides of the equation, we get

$x-2+2=0+2$

$\Rightarrow x=2$

(ii)Consider the equation $2x=4$

Dividing both sides of the equation by 2, we get

$\frac{2x}{2}=\frac{4}{2}$

$\Rightarrow x=2$
