As we know that, two angles are said to be supplementary angles if they add up to 180°.

Let the supplement of 31° be x°.

So, 31°+x°=180° (Supplementary angles add up to 180°)

x°=180°-31° (By transposing 31°from L.H.S. to R.H.S.)

x°=149°

Hence supplement of 31°is 149°.
