In photosynthesis, the red light or it’s wavelength is most effective as in this range both photosystem i.e PS(I) and PS(II) absorb light which is in the range of 680 nm and 700 nm respectively. Furthermore, blue light is absorbed by carotenoids, which pass the energy to the chlorophyll, whereas the light in the red region is absorbed by chlorophyll
So, the correct answer is 'Blue and red'
