Here, d = −4

a5=-3 Givena+5-1×-4=-3 an=a+n-1da-16=-3a=16-3=13

Using the formula, Sn=n22a+n-1d, we get

S10=1022×13+10-1×-4 =5×26-36 =5×-10 =-50

Thus, the sum of its first 10 terms is −50.

Hence, the correct answer is option B.
