Solution

The correct option is B A-2, B-4, C-3, D-1
Embryo sac is also called as female gametophyte. It is called so because in it only embryo develops. Pollen embryoids were discovered by Guha and Maheswari. Yeast reproduces by budding. Saccharomyces cerevisiae, is the budding yeast, is the common yeast used in baking and brewing. In either case, it reproduces by forming buds by mitosis. Parasexual hybridization is the asexual fusion of protoplasts from somatic cells of genetically different parents. It is also defined as the hybridization by induced fusion of cells from two contrasting genotypes for the production of hybrids which contain various mixtures of nuclear and cytoplasmic genomes, respectively.
