xy=50 ...... (1)
x+y=10 ...... (2)
Substitute the values of first option x=20 and y=30 in equations 1 and 2
xy=50
2030=50
50=50 which is true
x+y=10
20+30=10
10=10 which is true
Therefore, the first option satisfied the linear equations.
Likewise substitute the value of second option x=20,y=30
xy=50
20(30)=50
5050
x+y=10
20+(30)=10
1010
Similarly, x=20,y=30
