Solution

The correct option is D They both form a hollow sphere in the embryo that has an indentation called a blastopore
The two types are different in cleavage as protostome is radial and deuterostome is spiral. The development of coelom is also different as in Deuterostomes it is an Enterocoelom and in protostomes it is schizocoleom. In protostome, the oral end of the animal develops from the first developmental opening, the blastopore and in deuterostome, the first opening (the blastopore) becomes the anus.
Protostomes and deuterostomes both have a blastopore during coelom formation (hollow sphere). These are both types of cell development in animals. In both cells, there is a coelom (body cavity), an archenteron (developing digestive tube), a mesoderm (middle germ layer) and digestive tube. They both go through cleavage to get to the 8 cell stage.
So, the correct option is, 'They both form a hollow sphere in the embryo that has an indentation called a blastopore'.
