Solution
The correct option is B A-GnRH, B-LH/FSH, C-Oestrogen; D-Uterus The primary function of the hypothalamus is to produce gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) in response to estrogen or to stop the production of GnRH in response to progesterone. GnRH stimulates the pituitary gland to secrete a luteinising hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). LH and FSH once released, interacts with the ovaries to secrete estrogen in the uterus. When the level of sex hormone increases, it sends a signal to the hypothalamus to stop GnRH production in the form of a feedback control loop.
