In predation type of interaction the predator is stronger than the prey and consumes it by killing it. Predator and prey relationship is interspecific. But in certain species of animals like Chimpanzees, frogs, Cockroaches etc and even in Humans it may happen that the organism belonging to a species may prey upon another organism belonging to the same species, this form of predation is known as cannibalism.
