Choose the correct order in which egg travels from the ovary to the uterus.
Infundibulum⇒Ampulla⇒Isthmus
The egg released from the ovary first enters the most proximal part of the fallopian tube known as the infundibulum which consists of the fimbriae as a part. From the infundibulum the egg then enters the broadest portion of the fallopian tube called the ampulla. This is where fertilisation takes place. Once fertilisation takes place, the fertilised zygote travels to the next and last portion of the fallopian tube, the much narrower and shorter isthmus, eventually getting implanted. If fertilisation does not happen, implantation does not take place.
