  • Hepatitis A is caused by Hepatitis A virus. It is transmitted through infected food, water, clothes and faeces.
  • Hepatitis B is caused by Hepatitis B virus. It is transmitted by infected food and blood products (plasma) or by medical instruments contaminated by infected blood.
