Crypts of Lieberkuhn are intestinal glands present in mucosa of small intestine and they secrete digestive juices like succus entericus (intestinal juice).

Duct of Wirsung is the main pancreatic duct which is meant for the passage of pancreatic juice. It collects the pancreatic juice from the exocrine pancreas and empties it into the duodenum.

Opening of hepato-pancreatic duct into duodenum is guarded by sphincter of Oddi.

Ileocaecal valve is present between ileum (the last part of the small intestine) and caecum (the first part of the large intestine). It prevents the back flow of faeces from the large intestine to the small intestine.
