In order to find out the correct form of the verb needed, let's first understand these tenses. Present continuous tense is used to express an action that is continuing at the moment. Usually, in this case, the start time of the action isn't given. Present perfect continuous tense is used to express an action that has started in the past, continuing in the present, and might go on or end in future. Here, usually the start or the end time of the action is given. This sentence says - '9 o'clock', as the start time is given here, we will use the perfect continuous tense. Thus the correct option is B - 'Ravi has been studying for his science test since o'clock'. Option A is incorrect as it is present perfect tense, which is used for actions that have been completed. Option C is grammatically incorrect (we use has instead of have while referring to third-person singular noun (Ravi). 'Have' is used for a plural noun, and also, we don't require perfect continuous tense. Option D is incorrect as it is in the simple past tense.
