Solution

The correct option is C Gametogenesis Insemination Fertilization Implantation Gestation Parturition
During human reproduction' the first step is 'gametogenesis' which is simply known as 'gamete formation'. This process produces cells that are used for sexual reproduction, namely the sperm (in males) and ova or egg (in females). The next event is insemination where the sperm is introduced into the female reproductive tract. This step is followed by fertilization when the sperm penetrates into the ovum. This fusion gives rise to a zygote which adheres to the wall of the uterus (implantation). This signifies a successful pregnancy or conception and the time until birth is called 'gestation'. The last event is 'parturition' or childbirth.
So, the correct answer is 'Gametogenesis → Insemination → Fertilization → Implantation → Gestation → Parturation'.
