Choose the correct sequence of events that occur in the mode of infection of dengue virus.
Virus enters vector → Multiplies within the vector → Enters human body through vector → Multiplies within human body → Infects human with dengue fever
Dengue virus enters the mosquito's body when mosquitos suck the blood from an infected person. The mosquito does not get affected by the virus, it simply transports it which is why it is known as a vector. The dengue virus multiplies within the vector. When the vector bites a healthy person, the virus enters the human body. It begins to multiply within the human body and eventually causes dengue fever. The infected person shows symptoms of severe pain, headaches, fatigue, nausea and vomiting.
