Choose the correct use of allotropes of carbon.
Lamp Black:- Used to make shoe polishes
Fullerene:- Used for making superconductors
Diamond:- Used for cutting and drilling rocks
Bone charcoal:- To decolourise cane sugar
Uses of allotropes of carbon:-
(1) Lamp Black or Soot:- It is an amorphous form of carbon and is used to make shoe polishes.
(2) Fullerene:- It is a crystalline form of carbon and is used as insulators and to make superconductors (Substance having very low resistance).
(3) Bone charcoal:- It is an amorphous form of carbon and is used to decolourise cane sugar
(4) Diamond:- It is a crystalline form of carbon and is used for cutting and drilling rocks because it is the most hardest naturally occurring substance.
