Consider A) E A C
So we assume no apple is tasty and apples are not sweets as true.
If this is so then surely all sweets are tasty cannot be concluded. Hence, given statements E and A to be true we cannot conclude if C is true.

Consider B) C E A
So we assume no apple is tasty and all sweets are tasty as true.
If this is so, then we can conclude Apples are not sweets.
Hence, option B is correct.

Consider C) B D C
So we assume that B and D are true. If that is so then we cannot comment on wheter all sweets are tasty or not. Hence, we cannot conclude if C is true.

So we assume that C and B are true. If this is so then we cannot say that
