Solution

The correct option is B 5,775 and 21
Dividend ÷ Divisisor = Quotient.

Find the quotient for each of the given options through the box method of division.

In the option 1:
Dividend = 5775
Divisor = 15

Now, solving the division process using box method,

You got the final quotient as : 385
As 385275, so, first option is incorrect.

In the option 2:
Dividend = 5775
Divisor = 21

Now, solving the division process using box method,

You got the final quotient as: 275
This is equal to the value given in the option 2.

∴ Only option 2 is correct and the quotient will be: 275.

Now, in the option 3
Dividend = 5775
Divisor = 25

Solving the division process using box method,

You got the final quotient as: 231
As 231275, so, option 3 will also not be correct.

∴The correct selection of numbers will be:
Dividend = 5775
Divisor = 21.
And the final quotient will be: 5775/div21=275.

So, option 2 is the correct choice.
