Solution

The correct option is B 40%
Let number of girls in class A be x
and number of boys in class A be y.
Total number of students in class A is x+y

Number of boys in class B=x
Total number of students in class B is 1.5(x+y)

Percentage of boys in the student group =x+y2.5(x+y)×100=40%
