Fertilizers:
The nutrient-rich substances that are added to the soil to increase its fertility are known as fertilizers.

According to the nutrients, fertilizers can be of the following types: -

• Nitrogenous fertilizers. These fertilizers supply the macronutrient nitrogen
• Phosphatic fertilizers: These fertilizers supply macronutrient phosphorous.
• Potassic fertilizers: These fertilizers supply the macronutrient potassium.
• Complex fertilizers: When a fertilizer contains at least two or more nutrients then it is called a complex fertilizer.
