An acid salt is a salt whose partial acidic hydrogen are replaced by metal cation. For example- in NaHSO_4 one of the acidic hydrogen is replaced by Na+, as shown in the figure. So, it is called acid salt.
H2SO4+NaCl⟶NaHSO4+HCl
In case of NaH2PO2 the only acidic hydrogen (red hydrogen as shown in the figure) present in H3PO2 is replaced by Na metal. So, such salt is called neutral salt.
