  • Biodegradable materials are those materials that can be decomposed easily by bacteria or any other natural organism into simple molecules.
  • Biodegradable materials are friendly to the environment and do not cause any pollution.
  • Example: Woolen clothes, paper, peels of vegetables and fruits, cotton cloth, jute bag.

Nonbiodegradable materials:

  • Nonbiodegradable materials are those materials that can not decompose by bacteria or any other natural organism into simple molecules.
  • Nonbiodegradable materials are harmful to the environment and cause pollution.
