Solution

The correct option is B

Physical change - (i), (iii), (iv); chemical change - (ii)

In a physical change, there is no change in the chemical composition of a substance, whereas, in a chemical change, the chemical nature of the substance changes because of the formation of a new substance.

So, out of the given options, physical changes are:

Making sugar solution is a physical change as the salt dissolved in water can be retrieved back and there is no change in chemical composition.

Formation of clouds because when water evaporates in the process of evaporation it goes into air and form clouds by the process of condensation. This water goes back to earth by precipitation. This process is repeated again and again.

Making ice candy is a reversible change because ice candy melts due to increased temperature (room temperature) Melted ice candy can be solidified back by freezing it.

Cooking chicken changes the shape and size of the substance. In the making of chicken, the chicken is heated so that it is cooked well and the meat changes colour. The change in taste shows that there is a chemical change.
