Dear Student,
  • Onion reproduce through onion bulb or through viable seeds.
  • Banana- Bananas reproduce by the method of vegetative propagation. Vegetative propagation is the term used for asexual reproduction in plants which results in the growth of a new plant from its vegetative part. The banana vegetative propagates by side shoot. The shoot from the banana plant are removed and digged inside the soil. These shoots under a suitable environment grow up into a new plant.
  • Garlic- Garlic vegetatively propagate mostly by bulbs and bulblets.
  • Water Hyacinth- Water hyacinth is a free-floating perennial aquatic plant which propagates mainly by means of vegetative propagation through bulbs and offsets. It can also propagate by means of seeds.
  • Tulip- Bulb or Seeds
  • Mint- Mint plant reproduces both vegetatively and through seeds. Vegetatively they reproduce by runners or stolons, which produce new roots and shoots at the nodes, in the presence of favourable conditions.
  • Strawberry- Through Runners
  • Lily-Seeds
