Elements - An element is a substance that is made up of only one kind of atom, and cannot be split using any chemical means. For example - Gold(Au), Silver(Ag), etc.

Compounds - A compound is a substance made up of two or more elements united chemically in a predetermined mass proportion. For example - Water(H2O), Carbon dioxide(CO2), etc.

Mixtures - A mixture is formed when atoms or molecules of the same or different particles combine with each other physically. For example - Air is a mixture of gases like Carbon dioxide, Nitrogen, Oxygen, etc; dust, Water vapors
