Solution

Good Conductor:

  1. These are materials that have a very low resistance to electric current flow (or in its path).
  2. In other words, the resistivity of these materials is extremely low.
  3. Examples of good conductors are mercury, aluminum, iron, and metal coin.

Resistors:

  1. In an electronic circuit, a resistor is an electrical component that controls or regulates the passage of electrical current.
  2. Resistors can also be used to supply a set voltage to an active device like a transistor.
  3. Examples of resistors are Nichrome and manganin.

Insulators:

  1. An insulator is a material that doesn't transmit current easily.
  2. Examples of an insulator are Rubber, polythene, wood, paper, thermocol, and bakelite.
