Tropic movements are the curvature movements in which direction of movement is always related to the direction of stimulus.
Nastic movements occur due to stimulus of light and temperature but the direction of response is determined by the structure of organ responding to the stimulus.
Hence, shoots moving towards light show tropic movements and opening of flower shows nastic movements.
