Classify the following polynomial based on their degrees:

A polynomial is a function of the form f(x)=anxn+an1xn1+...+a2x2+a1x+a0 .
where an,an1,...a2,a1,a0 . are contants
and n is a natural number.
Let p(y)=y+3
The degree of a polynomial is the highest power of y in its expression.
Now, highest power of y in p(y) is =1
Thus, the degree of p(y) is 1
Polynomial of degree 1 is a linear polynomial respectively.
Hence, p(y)=y+3 is a Linear polynomial.
