Open in App
Solution

A combination of constants and variables connected by fundamental operations is called an algebraic expression.

Example - 3x-4y+5zhas terms 3x,-4y,5z

If an algebraic expression has only a term then it is monomial.

If an algebraic expression has two terms then it is binomial.

And if an algebraic expression has three terms then it is trinomial.

Hence, the given expression has two terms 3x,2y so it is binomial.
