Classify the numbers given in Question 2 into numbers to the left of zero and those to the right on the number line.

Solution

All negative numbers lie to the left of zero and all positive numbers lie to the right of zero. So, the numbers lying to the left of zero are −9, −28, −100, −4, −1, −48 and −95 and those lying to the right of zero are +5, +81, +1, +72 and +65.
