Solution
The correct option is B False
Cloning is a process in which the nucleus of a somatic cell is injected into an enucleated egg cell.
Somatic cells are diploid and have 23 pairs of chromosomes. On the other hand, gametes are haploid and have only 23 chromosomes.
When a haploid nucleus of an egg cell is replaced by a diploid nucleus of a somatic cell, the egg becomes diploid and starts developing into an embryo when placed in the uterus.
Nucleus of a male gamete is haploid so when introduced into an enucleated ovum will not be able to develop into an embryo.
