An increase in CO2 concentration increases the rate of photosynthesis. But the higher concentration of CO2 can inhibit the photosynthesis. In the atmosphere, there is 0.03-0.04% concentration of CO2. Increase in concentration up to 0.05% can increase the rate of photosynthesis. Beyond this level it becomes damaging. The C3 plants show saturation at 450 ppm and the C4 plants show saturation at 360 ppm of CO2 concentration in the atmosphere.
So, the correct answer is C.
