Coefficient of variation of two distribution are 60% and 70% and their standard deviations are 21 and 16 respectively. What are their arithmetic means ?
Coefficient of variation = σ¯¯¯x×100
So, we have :
60%=21¯¯¯x×100⇒¯¯¯x=21.60×100=35
70%=16¯¯¯x×100⇒¯¯¯x=16.70×100=22.85
