Seaweeds are marine algae. They may be green, brown or red in colour.
Brown seaweeds are usually large. Example- The brown Giant Kelp.
Red seaweeds are usually smaller than brown see weeds. Example- coralline algae.
Green seaweeds are smaller than red seaweeds. Example- charophytes, desmids and Spirogyra.
