Comments whether each of the following facts deflect the strength or weakness of our electoral system with reason
(a) After losing an election PM / CM also says “To respect the people’s verdict”
(b) The Lok Sabha has less than 10% women members
(c) Many of the MPs and MLAs have criminal background
(d) The E.C often refuses to accept the Government’s advice about when the election should be held
(e) Many of MLAs and MPs are not graduated.

(a) It is the strength of our electoral system because everyone respects the verdict without casting any doubt in the system.
(b)This is the weakness as we are talking high about the women empowerment in theory ,but in practical we re lagging far behind.Women representation should increase in percentage.
(c)The criminal background is a set back to our electoral system ,as the same criminals after winning know notrhing about the unity,peace and the brotherhood which harms the nation in a longer run.
(d)It is a strength because letting election commission to work independently will keep it transparent and away from any manipulation by the party in power.
(e)This is the weakness as the undergraduate members will harm the national development as they are weak in the technical know how of the progress and prosperity.
