Cast iron is a more purified form of iron, which contain less amount of impurities that in the pig iron.Wrought iron is a pure form of pig iron. It is a purified form of iron. It contains 99.5% pure iron and 0.5% other matter.Steel is a metal alloy composed of iron, carbon and few other elements.
Cast iron is neither malleable nor ductile.Wrought iron are Malleable and ductile.Produced through a firing process followed by addition and removal of different components to create the final alloy

It is less corrosive.It’s specific gravity 7.8 Contains about 2-4 % of carbon.
