Ciliated epithelium :

  1. It may be columnar or cuboidal epithelium in which the cells possess cilia on their free surface.

Glandular epithelium

  1. It forms the unicellular and multi cellular glands .

1.Long columnar cells having cilia on their surface. Some cells get modified to form the gland cells.
2.These are columnar epithelium .These are cuboidal epithelium.
3. These occurs in the lining of kidney, trachea.These occur in the salivary glands and sweat glands.
4.They mainly help in absorption.They help in secretion of enzymes and hormones , sweat and oils.
