Ascocarp
These are the fruiting bodies produced by ascomycetes. They have different shapes and these are:
Cleistothecium: These are closed and spherical ascocarps.
2. Perithecium: These are flask shaped ascocarps.
3. Apothecium : These are cup shaped ascocarps. eg.Peziza.

Basidiocarp
These are the fruiting bodies produced by Basidiomyctes. The fruiting bodies vary in size from small microscopic to large ones.
