(1) x² – 7x + 5 = 0
General form of the quadratic equation is $a x^{2} + b x + c = 0$ .
Comparing x² – 7x + 5 = 0 with the general form we have a = 1, b = $-$ 7 and c = 5.

(2) 2m² = 5m – 5
$\Rightarrow 2 m^{2} - 5 m + 5 = 0$
General form of the quadratic equation is $a x^{2} + b x + c = 0$ .
Comparing 2m² = 5m – 5 with the general form we have a = 2, b = $-$ 5 and c = 5.

(3) y² = 7y
$\Rightarrow y^{2} - 7 y + 0 = 0$
General form of the quadratic equation is $a x^{2} + b x + c = 0$ .
Comparing $y^{2} - 7 y + 0 = 0$ with the general form we have a = 1, b = $-$ 7 and c = 0.
