Compare the use of manures and fertilizers over manure.

Manure contains many organic substances of biolog ical origin which can be easily degraded and absor bed by plants. It helps in recycling of biological wa ste. Manures increase the fertility of soil for long dur ation without causing any harm. However, the che mical fertilizers (e.g. urea) improve soil fertility for sh ort duration but cause environment hazard. Contin uous use of fertilizers in a particular area / area field causes destruction of soil fertility.
