Dear student,
Here is the answer:
During the 19th century some of the important political ideas brought in changes that transformed the society. Three groups Liberals, Radicals and Conservaties looked to change the society.
Liberals wanted a nation that tolerted all religions. They opposed uncontrolled powers of dynastic rulers. They wanted a representative, elected parliamentary government, well trained judiciary that was free from rulers and officials. But they believed that voting right should be given to only those who had property. They also did not want women to vote.
Radicals on the other hand were in favour of a government that was based on the majority of a country's population. They supported women's right to vote. They were not in favour of concentration of property in the hands of few.
Conservatives were open to change in the nineteenth century. They believed that change can be brought about through a slow process.
