$$\begin{gathered} \mathrm{RHS}:8+9\times 10\left[\mathrm{BODMAS}\right] \\ =8+90 \\ =98 \end{gathered}$$

$$\begin{gathered} 170>98 \\ \Rightarrow \left(8+9\right)\times 10>8+9\times 10 \end{gathered}$$

Hence, $\left(8+9\right)\times 10$is greater
