If 6 litres of hydrogen and 4 litres of chlorine are mixed and exploded and if the water is added to the gases formed, the volume of the residual gas is _______.

The ratio of H2 : Cl2 is 1:1.
If 4 litres of chlorine is used then hydrogen is also used only 4 litres.
Thus the volume of residual gas =64=2 litres.
Hence, the volume of residual H2 gas is 2 litres.
