Solution

For concave mirror:

Ray (1) passing through focus after reflection becomes parallel to the principal axis.

Ray (2) passing through the centre of curvature travels back along its own path.

For convex mirror:

Any incident ray travelling towards a convex mirror such that its extension passes through the focal point will reflect and travel parallel to the principal axis.

Any incident ray travelling towards a convex mirror such that its extension passes through the centre of the curvature point will retrace its path after reflection.
