A Compliance Certificate is a document certified by a competent authority that the supplied good or service meets the required specifications. It is also called certificate of conformity.
Every company having a paid-up share capital of Rs. 10.00 lakhs or more but less than Rs. 500.00 lakhs is required to file with the Registrar of Companies, a Compliance Certificate obtained from a whole-time Secretary and also attach a copy of that certificate with the report of the Board of Directors of the company, as a part of the Board report.
