Solution

Dear Student,
A chemical reaction or a chemical change is a change in which one or more new substance is formed. It is very important in our lives since all new substances are formed through chemical changes.

Since a new substance is formed (Compound C), it is a chemical change.

In a physical change, no new substance is formed but only the physical properties of the substance undergo changes.

Regards.
