Open in App
Solution

Given, C.I.=Rs.246
Rate of interest r=5%
Time N=2 years
let the principal amount=P
Amount=P(1+R100)N=P(1+5100)2=P×(1.052)=1.1025P

So, C.I.=AP=1.1025PP=0.1025P

Given, C.I.=Rs246
0.1025P=Rs246
P=Rs2,400

Now the simple interest(S.I) for,
P=Rs2,400
N=3years
R=6 %

We have S.I.=PNR100
=2,400×3×6100
=24×3×6=Rs. 432
