Compound of Cu and Ag showing +3 oxidation state are K3[CuF6] and Na[AgF4].
Let x be the oxidation number of Cu in K3[CuF6].
Since the overall charge on the compound is 0, the sum of oxidation states of all elements in it should be equal to 0.
Therefore, 3(+1)+x+6(1)=0
or, x=3
Let y be the oxidation number of Ag in Na[AgF4].
Since the overall charge on the compound is 0, the sum of oxidation states of all elements in it should be equal to 0.
Therefore, +1+y+4(1)=0
or, y=+3
